i'm back.

well,a lot has happened since the last time i actually had time to write in here. there was the national convention, which was completely awesome, and i'm definitely going next year. i know, i'm an expensive child, but i love traveling, and FFA is freakin' awesome!

well, as far as this week goes, i've been swamped with all the work that i missed last week, driver's ed, work, and FFA again. all of this has contributed to the lack of sleep i've gotten this week, which is probably why i have fallen asleep in math class every day this week. that's okay though, i hate that class anyway.

the awesome part of school is that we just got 8 new animals for the ag department today- chinchillas, a hedgehog, mice, rats, and a hamster. the hamster, which i want to name "angel food", is the animal that me and aubrey are taking care of for the small animals unit this quarter, and she's really dumb! like she couldn't figure out how the little stairs in her cage worked at first, so she kept stage-diving off of them. i mean, she could climb up them just fine, but i guess she couldn't figure out how to get down. hm. weird. anyway, i don't know why, but the arrival of all these animals has excited me beyond my expectations, and i can't wait to start working with all these animals. we're also getting 2 degus (which i hear are like large gerbils) on monday, which is exciting, because i've never seen one before.

the freshmen are all being freshmen... that's the drawback of befriending people 2 years younger than you. not that it really makes a difference, but still: i'm trying to grow up and grow out, and sometimes the freshmen just drive me crazy.

alright, here's the deal: both jay and justin now have girlfriends. justin, well, that wasn't much of a surprise. he's going out with the girl from the street fest who was wearing devil horns, katelyn, i think her name is. but i never wonder about justin, since he's so cool that he can attract the attention of any cool girl i know. but jay... okay, this kid makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. he tells everyone about all these girls that he likes, and he also tells people that he wants to stay single so that he can't cheat on anyone. then, after he tells lisa that he likes her, he goes out with this random chick that no one's ever heard about before, yet he's flirting with me way more than usual. are you confused? yeah... so am i. and then he told justin that he was leading me on when i was on the phone with him last night, simply because i was horny. excuse me, but i'm not dumb. i may not have a clue as to what you're doing, but i don't wear my emotions on my sleeve either. if he wants to play mind games, then so be it. i can give him a pretty good run for his money.

i should probably go soon, since i don't really want to be sleeping until noon tomorrow. actually, that might be a good thing. i haven't been able to sleep in like that since... sometime in early october. wow. i need that. then i won't be nodding off every two seconds like i have been all week. that'll be nice.
before i go to bed, though, i want to finish downloading all the backgrounds that MAN messenger has. the pro to downloading all of them is that i never have to bother with downloading them again, and i have them all for my many different moods, and believe me, i'm moody. plus, MAN has lots of very pretty photo backgrounds for me to steal.

oh, and the software for my scanner doesn't work. that kind of pisses me off, since i wanted to get my louieville pictures from wal-mart ASAP so that i could have them for the party thing on monday. well, i'll still have the physical pictures, which i was going to bring to the meeting anyway, but i still want to get the pics up online and me a gallery. sigh. i'll get around to it eventually...

well, i'm gonna end this entry, since i'm too tired to think. good night everyone.
