Lollypop

I know my title is a little weird, but I guess there are some parts of my day where it involved a lollypop. LOL. Hehehehehe. Okay, so I woke up and I found three text messages from Alex as well as a voice mail… from Alex. Man, that girl loves her new cell phone! LOL. Well, it actually is pretty cool. So, I text her back and then I was running late so I took a quick shower and got dressed and I was kinda in the middle of a fashion emergency 'cuz I didn't have really anything to wear for church. But, I found something even if I was feeling kind of ugly. We were late to church and there were hardly any people in the earliteen room. A thing I don't like about Central church is that they treat you as if you're so immature in that class. I feel like a fifth or sixth grader. Well, anyway… I just sat there with Julia… bored. Then, right near the end of the class Erik showed up. Finally! He didn't sit by me… as he always used to. But, it wasn't like I was expecting him to, this time, or anything. When Sabbath school was out, I went to talk to Meryssa. A bunch of her family were coming over to the church because her dad, step mom, and brother were all getting baptized today. I felt so happy for her! And she was so excited about it. And she says she's going to get baptized another day. Maybe, I could be baptized with her. 'Cuz I want to be baptized. Well, anyways she was standing out front waiting for some old lady to drive up. She never met her before but she said it was one of her elderly relatives, and she probably was wearing pants. That's all she knew about her. So, Julia and I were helping her look out for her. So, we were just waiting and waiting and Erik's mom and his little sisters: Rebecca and Lea were sitting on a bench by the entrance. Erik and Nik walked off somewhere so I think his mom was waiting for them. 'Cuz she got up once they showed up. His mom said hi to us and I said hi and smiled back. They were just standing right next to us so Julia asked if she could hold Lea. She only held her for about a minuet until she handed her over to me. I was holding a lollypop that Meryssa had given me, and Lea kept trying to get it from me. And Erik kept helping her find it. Then, I swung her down and at least I think she liked it, 'cuz she smiled. OMG… she's so adorable. Not as cute as Quinine, of coarse, but I mean she is just really adorable. I played with her for a while and then let her walk around, and Erik took her. I let her hold my lolly pop, and when I tried to take it back, she got this really cute but sad face and I just had to give it to her. Then, for a little bit we were talking about how long our hair was, when we were babies. I said my first haircut was when I was about three, since when I was even younger, I was mainly bald. And Erik asked his mom when his first haircut was and she said when he was about two and it was down to his shoulders. And it was straight! And then Nik said his hair was like that too, except it was curly in some spots. Okay, so it was a weird conversation—but that was that. Then, later Erik was over by the fountain, holding Lea, and I went up to him… well, actually up to Lea and him. "She's so cute!" I said. "I told you… she takes after me," he said. I just laughed and kissed Lea and I got lip-gloss all over her hair. Then, I went to church. Once I sat down I found out that the baptism of Meryssa's family just finished! And she was here and she didn't get to see it!!! I started saying, "Oh no…oh no…" 'cuz I knew she would be really upset. My dad did the children story up front and he said he saw Meryssa crying and he told her that the baptism gets taped, so she'll be able to see it. 'Cuz I go to Central church… and some of you might have heard of Doug Bachelor or seen him on TV. He's our pastor… and I go to that church. And, my dad was the one telling the children's story today, so yeah. I was sitting close to Meryssa and she was all red in the face from crying. Erik and his family were sitting a few seats behind us, and every time Julia and I would look back there Lea was still holding the lollypop I had given her. Even, while she was sleeping. So cute. Well, after church we just went home and I hung out in the attic and I took my dad's laptop up here, so all my written entries that I had worked on, I typed them out and will put them on a floppy disk and move them over to jemdiary when my computer gets fixed or I'm at my mom's house. So, all afternoon I have been up here typing. My sister took a nap up here, and now my dad and sister are on a bike ride, somewhere in Roseville. I don't know if my dad forgot or not… but I have to go to Alex's movie night, tonight and it starts in a half hour, I think. So, he better get back soon. Well, I better go. Talk later.
