Holy Spirit

Do you believe in the holy spirit?
I do. A new girl, at my old school, is going there; a private (Christian) school, and I don't think she's even a Christian! You can go to a private school, and SOMETIMES go to church, but that dosn't nessesarily mean your a Christian. You have to BE Christian too. Show your Christianity. And she's like against the whole thing, anyway.
I was at the "Jesus Series" last night, at my church, and I was early so I stood outside talking to Brendon, when Anne and Sarah came around. Sarah started yelling (stuff I shouldn't repeat) and getting all upset that Alyssa took her purse and will probably go through it and throw everything everywhere! (Alyssa wouldn't do that.) I told her she was exaggerating but she just kept going on and on about how she had tampons hidden in there. (and she thinks Alyssa would throw them everywhere--yeah right!) Then, as she continued with her little crisis some annoying fourth grade boy, came by hitting her with some plastic stick. "Ahhh!" she yelled at him, and then just stood there, with her arms crossed and rolling her eyes. "I'm just praying he goes away!" she yelled.
Well, at least you pray! I thought. Even, though that shouldn't even have crossed my mind. Then she blurted out, "Well, somebody up there obvisouly dosn't love me...just like this annoying kid! This is why I don't go to chruch." "You shoudln't say that, Sarah!" I told her. "Well, he has a really strange way of showing it!" And that was just one of those times, when once you turn around, you think up something really good to say, but it's already too late.
That night, I laid in bed, and then the words came to me. Just like always. I never know what to say, 'til later. "Sarah, God loves you with all his heart! But you've just hadn't have time to think about it, and invite the holy spirit back into your heart. It's your personal relationship, but right now, there is no relationship. So, start helping yourself, and talk to him and get forgiven. And mean it, before it's too late."

Remember, however, that you have a job and a responsibility, but not all the power. What I'm saying is this: You need to do your best to show jesus's love to everyone and to inform them of what is needed to have that personal love... but no matter what you do, with some people, it doesn't seem to matter... The thing to remember is God does the saving, not you ;) You are definately pleasing God by doing what you're donig.. Finally, God teaches us things... YOu have these words in your head for the next time you run into this situation :)
