People of today treat children as great people of the future, but they forget they are somebody of this world today.

I read this phrase from a book:

People of today treat children as great people of the future, but they forget they are somebody in this world today.

True. VERY TRUE. All the parents of this world want their children to grow up as useful people. They want us to serve the goverment and earn money to keep them living. But, they rarely remember that we are barely kids, children that make the world brighter and livelier, children that don't know anything about medical usage, children that don't even know university work, children that just want to enjoy life while they can. You never now when something might happen to you, your loved ones, anyone around you. May it be good or bad, it just might turn your life topsy-turvy. For me, I just want to enjoy my childhood while I can. When I reach secondary one, I would be called a young teenager. Maybe for some crazy about kids auntie would still call me a kid, but in most peoples' eyes, I am a teenager. I have two more years to a teenager, I want to enjoy it. I want to live to the limit. Not just talk about what I want to be when I grow up, whether I want to get married, have kids, whether I want to stay single, all that kind of grown-up stuff. No, I want to live life in the simple child-like way.

So I hope, anybody reading this will wake up and treat your kids as SOMEBODY of this world today, and let them enjoy their childhood. Childhood only comes once in a lifetime, you don't get another childhood. Give more attention to them, not more to their grades. What is important is the inner beauty, whether it's a boy or girl.
