Is saving time worth the time spent to save the time?

Lately I've been working on creating more RSS feeds (like the script on 102 that checks my comments via rss)... well I just made one for JEMDiary newest entries so I can keep an eye on things... but it took me a few hours to create... heh... so was it worth it?  It all goes back to that argument that people pay money to save time, but they have to work more time to make money to pay for the bills.  Heh.
