Closing out JEMLinx

It can be cathartic from time to time to reduce the bloat and baggage in your life. For me, this means cutting that fat on websites. I've got the habit of starting multiple projects - and then running out of time or not making time to complete them. In this particular case, the up keep for this site - its time requirements - and my lack of promotion kind of tanked this one. I'm talking about JEMLinx.

JEMLinx was originally going to be a sort of social media link site (similar to digg, slashdot, etc... ) which was mainly ran by me. A side aspiration was just to create a place where I could store useful links that I've come across. (lately, I've been using google bookmarks instead). I thought it was time that I went through the whole site, grabbing the useful links again, possibly writing about the other ones, and get rid of the site. All it has been is a drain on me since I decided to let it go.
