JEMGames.com - My Experiment

So everyone talks about what is better: build or buy.  I decided to try this out myself.  

JEMDiary.com - a home built diary system.  It does a lot of the features I originally wanted.  Many years of my life is cataloged on this site.  It has taken me days and days of developmen t- weeks - months even.  But I learned a lot - and it has become popular over the last few years - not incredibly popular - but popular enough.

JEMGames.com - a bought solution.  I bought a game script and games.  It is branded similarly in name - but I wanted ot do the least amount of work to get a site going.  I was curious if the site @ jemgames.com would be more popular - and be worth the $ investment.  So far, it has not been.  

So, so far it looks like jemgames was not worth it. HOWEVER, maybe I'm just being impatient.  I think about the early years of the diary site being on hotba - and I didn't have but a hit aday... so...

It'll be interesting.  I thought I'd run the experiment for about 2 years.  :)
