Lots ot work lately...

Hey guys, its benn a wee while since I wrote an entry. Last wednesday I got a phonecall on my way into town from the IT Manager at Venture Packaging asking me if I can work from today (Wednesday) untill Saturday. Obviously I said yes, so after town I made my way into work, I finished at around 6pm. That was the last time I got a decent night's sleep. I was up at 7am every day after that, and I had to go into my normal job as a barman after that, so I was generally up at 7am and getting to bed around 3:30am, so I have been getting around 3 hours sleep every night... fun huh?

Its not all bad though, I did get to do a lot of work that I really enjoyed, I got to change over from a 3Com HUB system to a CISCO Switch system. I got to play with a nice Cisco Catalyst system and some neat hardware, as well as meeting some nice office guirlies! As well as that, I got a nice shiny '3Com SuperStack II PS Hub 40' which is basicly a rack mounted 12 port hub. I also got a new laptop! its not very new, and it doesnt have an operating system, but it is a very nice Industrial laptop, I will be getting pictures online soon. On top of that, I get paid, the IT Manager there was saying if I need any equipment, that he will order it for me and do it as part payment, so I am getting a 4 port KVM too!

I finished the negative ION generator too, here are the PICS as well as that, I have finally posted pictures of my FM Transmitter here .

I am buying a domain in a while, couple of hours, and when I do, I will post a comment about what it is.

Thats all for now...

Current Project:
Designing and building a new rack system so I can mount some patch pannels and hubs.
