Am I really a fifth grader now?

OMG! Since yesterday was the last day of school so I'm techically not a fourth grader anymore does that mean that I'm a fifth grader now? Or am I in grade 4 and 3 quarters or something? Maggie says since we are now graduated from fourth grade that we are now fifth graders but is does that really make sense? Is it true? I feel like an alien because I'm not even in a grade but I'm in Elementary School. Does that make sense? Because to me it doesn't. Kids grow up so fast. I'm proud to be a kid but I don't see why time can't give us that much time to enjoy some things in life. I bet if I go on vacation it will just go by in a snap which means I will barely have time in Washington D.C. or San Francisco if I can't go to Washington D.C. or to the Oregon Coast if I can't go to either Washington D.C. or San Francisco.

 And for some reason while school was going on I just couldn't wait for summer vacation and now I can't wait for the first day of school. And other than that I have a song stuck in my head. It goes to the tune of take me out to the ball game. Heres how iot goes.

Let me out for the summer

Let me out with the crowd

I've been in school now for quite a while

now it's time to be leaving in style

 So I'll wave good-bye to the teachers

I know they'll shed a big tear

for it's one, two, three months of fun

'till school starts next year!
