I'm feeling: sad sad

I'm sad. Paula is gone. Everyone likes Paula. Or at least the girls do. I really miss Paula. She is moving to Puerto Rico. I know I am using short sentences. I'm also sad because today was the last day of school. I almost cried at the assembly. I did cry on the bus when all the teachers where blowing bubbles in good-bye to all the students on the bus. I can't believe this year went by so fast. Since today was the last day of school I am now a fifth grader. Next year is going to be my last year at Dorothy Fox. It makes me sad just thinking about it. Dorothy Fox Elementary is like the most awesome elementary school ever! Today I had to say good-bye to some teachers forever like Mrs. Dahlquist the librarian and some other teachers too. Why can't I be a fourth grader again? Life is going by in a blur. I just hope next year lasts long enough.

     The older you get the faster life goes by. Trust me. I wish I could tell you how to slow it down, but you can't. Just enjoy your life. You're still young. You can always go back and see some of your teachers. Maybe you'll see them around in a store or something. And I'm sorry about your friend Paula. Friends will come and go. Maybe you 2 can stay in touch, emails, phone calls, ya know or through turtle mail.. Don't think of all this as a good-bye, think of this as a new chapter in your life. You're getting older!Just enjoy it.
