Complicated Thought

Last night I was sitting with my cat, he was kneading me with his paws, and I remembered something I learned. Kittens do that to their mothers when they are young. And I thought, wow, my cat has a mother, who knows who or where she is but he has one. I wondered if he missed her. People say cats are not advanced enough to have such emotions. I don't know what it'd be like to be without a mom. Anyways, I think cats and other animals are smarter than they make us think. I had a test in science about evolution. It talked about the history of the earth, and evolution, and how humans are the most advanced species blah blah blah. If humans are so advanced how come we can't take care of our planet properly!!! All the bad things in this earth are basically because of us. Global warming, deforestation, the list is quite long. Before humans and our so called "Advanced Ways" the world was a pristine place with a perfect balance of nature and the earth. All problems were natural, and had a good purpose, and although this is a large cliche, it was the circle of life. I feel guilty being a human, since we are the species that destroyed the planet. And although I feel stupid saying this I'd give anything to be a cat. If you have read the book Warriors by Erin Hunter, I'd like to be a feral forest cat as free as the wind. Not part of the most evil species on the earth. I may sound dumb, but I don't care. It's how I really feel, and if that's a problem then too bad.
