So just today I got dragged to a food show at down town milwaukee for my work. Now I understand that food shows are suppose to be places where you taste and take home some of the product. But it was just so weird to see people grabbing bags of bread or boxes of pasta etc. Especially knowing that the leftover bread would go to a food pantry in milwaukee. For an hour and a half I walked around this place trying the food and talking to vendors who were trying to sell me their product. Definitely not what I would call a good time. Especially when I had to go with my boss. I was trying to avoid going, but somehow they saw me walking past the dorms and pretty much dragged me into the car and made me go. Tell you one thing, I am definitely putting in a time clock adjustment form tomorrow because there is no way I am not getting paid for going to this thing.
