Entrance to Church

A little over a week ago, I was going to church on Saturday night (thankfully that means there weren't a lot of people at the service.) Anyways, as we were walking in the church, I had my head turned to talk to my friend, so I didn't notice that the corner of the entrance mat was up a little. My flip-flop got stuck underneath the mat and I fell flat on my face, knees and hands crashing to the tile surface. My face was only a couple of inches from hitting the steps. I'm so thankful, and surprised that I didn't break anything, but as soon as we got home from church I had to ice my knees and I still have deep bruises from it. Of course it didn't help any that I was crawling on my knees while I was paintballing. The weird thing was that after I got up from the spill, the welcome lady looked at me as if she disapproved. She didn't say anything or hardly even look at me, like I wanted to fall and make a scene. Oh well, it was quite hilarious and would have been even more funny if it didn't hurt so much. Seems I have trouble staying on my feet and making a normal entrance into a church.
