Paintball

Hey, so I know it has been a super long time since I've written anything in here. It's not because I forgot about it, I was just waiting for something out of the ordinary to happen,because I didn't think everybody wanted to hear about how all I ever do is work and school.
So this past weekend I went home to go paintballing. It really wasn't a good weekend, school wise, but I had to go, because who can resist paintballing? Anyways, I went home Friday (first I got to go to the chiropractor which is one of my favorite parts of going home). Next went to my brothers rugby game. Mitch was playing it easy because he has had about 5 concussions. Then my mom and I went to the Golden Corral for dinner, and it was surprisingly good but I won't betray OCB like my mom has.
So the paintballing began early Saturday morning when I woke up at 7:45am. Drove to the farm with my dad and I got to drive around the golf cart (always a treat) but I felt so bad because one of the cats at the farm had gotten into a fight so his skull was all bloody and he was meowing. We had about 20 people paintballing and I was the only girl. There were a bunch of junior high boys, a couple of their dads, and some other men from the church.
After the actual tournament, my dad made a bonfire (he didn't realize that there was no grill at the farm) and put a metal slide that was out by the woods on top of the bonfire and grilled hotdogs. Of course he washed the slide with sand, so it was sanitary :). Oh yeah, when we got to the farm and out to the woods, there was a baby owl on top of one of the hills that we normal paintball at, so we had to move to another woods so we wouldn't disturb it. Got some nice pictures of it. I only got a couple of bruises and I actually shot other people, so I would say I'm definitely getting better at it.
But the bruises are always the best part.
