Christian Dating

Well these past couple of weeks have been frustrating to me, because I have started to like a guy that I am pretty sure is not a Christian. The frustrating part is he is a really great guy, and I keep asking myself if I would honestly date this guy. Oh I hate how difficult this is. Especially since I see him everday at work and just talking to him brightens my day. I act so natural around him, which normally takes a long time for me to do. I wonder if there will be any way for me to stop liking him, continue to act natural around him, and just be friends?

Sometimes you just have to take things as they come. It's hard to not fall for someone wonderful, but you need to ask yourself this question: "Which is more important? My religious life, or possibly being happy with someone, or even taking the chance?"
In the end, things will fall into place, no matter what you choose. Remember, there's more than 1 man out there, and if you choose religion over a man, then there is bound to be a Christian man out there that's just as wonderful, if not more.

I struggle too

I have the exact same struggle.
But lets look at it this way... what is probably one of the biggest thigns that would draw this man your way? he would notice that yu're a great person and have something different about you... something thats completely interesting and 100% awesome. That, my friend, is that radiance of Jesus that you shine.
I believe that God does not want us to date non-christians... yet its the biggest thing I struggle with. HOwever, if you were to date a non-christian, break what God says, woud'nt you be dimming that lite that jesus is shinging through you? You'd be hurting the father that loves you more than any man could.
but yes, I know, this is all stuff you probably "know" in your mind... its that dang heart that gets carried away. I hope you find the right choice in your head and its logic propogates to your heart. I want nothing more than you to be with a great guy and to be happy... but to be with that guy who takes you just as you are and does his rightful part of leadership and love and learning, and doesn't expect you to sacrifice what is mos timportant to you.
