Bashing Sexes

I have to admit that I'm kind of getting sick of people saying that one sex is dumb, and then the other person saying that the other sex is dumb. Seriously there are dumb people in each sex. You just got to learn to ignore the dumb people (I know it's hard, I've had my share of them: refer to TWNT) but it has to be done to get on with your life. I don't enjoy reading entries that are tearing down one sex. If their beating on the guys, I think "that's not right, I know some guys who don't do that," so that means their misrepresented. And if their beating on the girls, I just get annoyed, because I know that not all girls are like that, or if they are they really don't mean to be and are actually trying to not be. So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE keep the ragging of one sex to one person instead. Taking frustrations out on an entire sex is just not right. The person who your upset at should be the person who is getting torn apart. Just think of how many times you've been misrepresented by what someone said about your sex.

my opinion is what it is. I do realize there are people who break the mold, but for the most part, what I have witnessed is what I have stated. Am I saying that guys are perfect? by all means no... And I too dislike hearing the male bashing, but believe me, I hear it a lot, thats just how it is. I am bitter, very bitter. I have been burned, and the scars are deep. I vent. And I am not too fond of the female gender in general. I have my fingers crossed for one of these "good" women... until then, I will complain.
Its a free choice to read what I write or not :) its up to you.

I know many bitter people, towards one sex or the other, or even other races. It's all pretty sad if you ask me. First of all, I don't think it's healthy for a person emotionally to carry around all the penned up anger. Second, it can't be good on society to have people with bad experiences jump to stereotypes right away. Judge individuals for what they are, not a race or sex based on one or a handful of individuals. It is a shame that some people have repeated bad incidents with like people (e.g. race or sex), but 2 wrongs certainly don't make a right.
I agree w/ RubeRed here.
Something else to consider, even towards individuals you have bad experiences with - perhaps there is a time to forgive and forget? Much has to do with religous beliefs, I think, as that sort of philosophy has much to do with many religous beliefs, but even for a person's emotional well being - I think it's better to let go of those hard feelings after a while. Obviously, people are going to get angry, and many times it's healthy to get that out, but get it out, leave it out, and move on. That's my $0.03.
