What is it about me that makes teachers call on me? Seriously!! Do I give off this vibe or something saying that I know what I'm doing? I did not like having to give the presentation of my family tree tonight. She asks for volunteers and then asks me to go, I was the first one she picked. Grrrr! Although at times I like that they call on me cause I usually know what I'm talking about, mind you I did for the family tree thing as well, but I'm pretty sure that's not the point. It's tricky, cause you want the teacher to think you know what your talking about, and that you know your stuff, but you don't want to become their go to guy, calling on you everytime someone doesn't volunteer.

Further to emphasize my point, my voice doesn't hold up well under pressure so whenever I'm talking for a considerable amount of time, it sounds like I'm going through puberty. It's very uncomfortable to have to continually clear your throat while your trying to speak.

In the end, I will admit that I kind of liked that she called on me, for one that means she knows who I am (well kind of cause she kept calling me elizabeth), for two I probably would have volunteered anyways.
