Old Friends

So, I guess it's time for my "I never keep in touch with old friends" pity-party. I know those who don't read this look forward to it every couple of months or so...

I sure wish I could talk with all my friends on a regular basis. You know, meet them for lunch or go see a movie once in a while. Everyone lives far off now, and I have to make a flight to see a lot of them. So, of course, we don't take advantage of free e-mail to keep in touch, because we're all too lazy LOL. And we don't talk on the phone much, mostly because I'm the only one who calls, and when I do I can't think of much to say, once we get past the local weather.

* sigh *

Change is tough. Moving was tough. Now I have all kinds of friends continuing to spread out all over the damn country. And I've got friends from the old stompin' grounds and the new, and people from both groups are spreading out. GAHHHHH

I need to come up with some event that brings them all together in one place once or twice a year. Yes, that would be lovely.

Anywho - wish I could keep up with all of them, and always have things to chit-chat about.

Well, I better get going so my gf still talks to me. hehehehehe
