Your title summarizes the content of your entry. We need you to enter this so we can easily show the entries in your diary index.
An entry emotion is an icon that represents how you're feeling while writing that entry. This information will be shown when you or a friend is reading your entry. To add one, simply click the 'Add an Emotion' link - and then choose the best emoticon for what you're feeling.
Um... thats the point of an entry - to have content! You have to have some reason to create an entry. Fill in anything here.
An entry icon is a graphical addition to the title of your entry. This will be shown adjacent to your entry title in most views. To add an entry-icon, click the link labeled 'Add an Entry Icon' - and choose the best fitting icon for your entry.
You have at some time entered a diary password in your settings page. You may have your entire diary password protected or just choose to mark individual ones. This is important: If you have your diary globally password protected, but never mark any of your entries password protected, if you ever remove the global protection, those diary entries will be visible. Sure! This editor functions alot like a common word processor. Type some text and highlight it and make it bold. Its easy. The advanced features such as creating links and adding images are created by some popup windows. Simply click the icon corresponding to the action you're trying to do - and this will walk you through the steps. You can also preview approximately what your entry will look like by clicking the preview button.
Building links: This seems to generate some confusion. In order to create a link in your diary, type the text that you'd like the link to appear as. Then, highlight the text. Then you should be able to click the link image to add a link to that text.
