My buddy action didn't work! Help!
When you first sign up for JEMDiary, you get a buddy right away. This first add is just to show you how the buddy list works. The guy is one of the administrators of the site - it was done automatically. Feel free to add more, delete that buddy, etc - you won't hurt his feelings.
On your homepage, click the link in the top buddies list to change your top buddies. Then, drag the buddies by username to the order you'd like them in. Finally, click the green check mark box.
There are two ways to add a buddy. If you are reading their entries, there should be a link to click that says "Add Buddy". Also, if you're viewing their profile, there is also a link near their profile picture to add them. Then, your buddy will have to accept your request.
When viewing your full buddy list, place a check mark next to each buddy you'd like to delete. Then click the Delete Selected Buddies link. Note - if you page to the next page, you will lose all the selected buddies. You can only delete a page at a time. You will get a confirmation screen and then the buddies are gone.
There are a few things that could have happened. First, your buddy could have rejected your request. You will get no notification. Another possibility is that you already have a buddy request pending for the buddy you tried to add. If they haven't accepted or rejected your request, you'll still see the link to add them as a buddy - but won't be able to.
